What to Wear with Paper Bag Shorts

Hi Girls! I shopped my closet the other day to show you a few different ways you can style your paper bag shorts! If you haven’t tried a pair yet, I highly recommend that you do. I was surprised at how much I love this style! They are really flattering as they cinch at the waist giving an appearance of a slimmer waistline. What To Wear With Paper Bag Shorts

The shorts I chose to style with today are the Amazon Paper Bag Shorts. I bought them last summer and wear them all the time! They are available in other colors as well. They are true to size, comfy, and really good quality! I’ve washed and worn many times and they hold up well

1. T-shirt with Sneakers

2. Denim Jacket

Throw on a denim jacket for Spring or Fall transition or just chilly nights!

3. A Dressy Blouse

A simple blouse can dress up these shorts for a shower, daytime event or a night out. Pair with sandals, heels and your favorite jewelry!

4. A Henley Tee

Don’t you just love a good henley tee? I got this one from Amazon and I love it. It’s a great top that you can pair with so many different bottoms. It comes in other colors as well. I’m wearing a small for reference.

5. A Fun Print

A cute print would go with any solid color shorts. Just tuck it in and you ‘re ready to go. Love the floral prints for spring and summer. This exact top wasn’t available so I linked similar styles for you.

6. Statement Sleeves

A top with statement sleeves can really elevate your outfit. It takes the shorts from casual-ish to dressy immediately. Pair with your favorite sandals! This top is no longer in stock, but I linked similar ones for you.

7. A Cardigan/Blazer and Simple Tank

I love throwing a cardigan over a tank top because I tend to get chilly when being in air conditioning over the summer. So if I’m wearing a tank I always bring a cute jacket or cozy light cardigan with me.

8. A Denim top

This lightweight chambray top has been a favorite of mine for years. Tie it at the bottom or tuck it in completely. Cute and casual!! A nice denim button-down is a closet staple.

9. A Pretty Camisole

I think a camisole is great when you have an outdoor party to go in the summer that you need to be a little dressy for, but not too dressed up.

Tuck the camisole into your paperbag shorts and pair with flat sandals or espadrilles. And don’t forget a cardigan in case it gets chilly!

10. A Dressy Black Top
